What to pack for 6 weeks in Thailand
Planning a 6-week adventure in Thailand, unsure what to pack? This post breaks down exactly what to pack for travel in a tropical climate. From must-have clothing and toiletries to travel essentials and helpful extras, you'll find a practical guide to help you pack smart, stay comfortable, and be ready for everything from island hopping to temple tours.
First thing the biggest debate when travelling , Suitcase or bag?
My answer will probably not help you decide! But all i can say is do what YOU feel comfortable using. Me personally? I prefer suitcase. But there was also times where using a bag could of been better, E.g Getting on/off ferries were you need to carry you own luggage on and off and also up flights of stairs because the hotel you were staying at didn’t have an elevator, Carrying 20kg+ upstairs and onto ferries wasn’t fun and very exhausting. (All of those souvenirs i got😂)
Clothes
Going into specifically for ladies, This can also be used for men aswell just take out what we ladies use.
• Tshirts x2 • Singlet/Tanktop x 3 •Underwear x10 • Bras x4 • Swimwear x3 • Sandals x1 • Jacket/Jumper x1 • PJ’s x3
• Shorts x 3 • Loose pants that cover the knee/go to ankle x2 • Dress x2 • Sneaker x1 • Flip-flops x1 • Towel x 1 • Socks x4
Honestly the more underwear the better, Im fine with re-wearing clothes if needed but underwear? Nope, not happening.
Toiletries
These items can be interchangable aswell but not always needed.
• Skincare • Hairbrush • Hair elastics/clip • Sunscreen • Soap
• Toothpaste/Toothbrush • Shampoo/Conditioner • Feminine Hygiene products
Please note, Many of these products you can buy when travelling. But someone brands that you may prefer are not always available.
Medical
• Mini/Homemade First aid kit • Any medication need for your medical conditions
• Paracetamol/ibuprofen • Birthcontrol
I prefer to bring Paracetamol/ibuprofen aswell as Birthcontrol from home so i know what i am using in a foreign country and what works for me!
Electronics
Being a content creator i carry more than the average person. This list is what i use but NOT WHAT YOU NEED.
• Laptop • Ipad/Kindle • USB Cords • Travel Adaptor
• Hard Drive • Phone • Camera • Portable Charger
Save space & weight by using a multi-port chargers instead of carrying multiple chargers for different items.
I hope this list helps you in deciding what to pack for your next trip to Thailand or anywhere in the world. Just remember the items on this can be interchangable and not always needed!
